imaginePR was founded by British entrepreneur Jem Bahaijoub, an established creative and strategic leader with over a decade of experience in the international music and entertainment industry.
Jem has worked on both sides of the industry fence. She has worked with major labels including Universal Music Group, SonyBMG, Warner and EMI, as well as independent labels and organizations such as Instant Karma Records, Vince Power Music Group, Rage Music, and New Note.
Artists Jem has worked with include Neil Young, Luciano Pavarotti, U2, James Brown, Donny Osmond, Lionel Richie, SuperGrass, Primal Scream, Gary Numan, Mariah Carey, Eurythmics, George Michael, Sting, Andrea Bocelli, Hayley Westenra, Bond, Engelbert Humperdinck, Cecilia Bartoli, Renee Fleming, Cliff Richard, Russell Watson, the Antonio Forcione Quartet, and The Seckou Keita Quartet.
Jem has worked on major music and arts festivals in the UK including The Hop Farm Festival, The Mighty Boosh Festival, New Generation Arts Festival, City Showcase and the Pavarotti & Friends concert series in Italy. She has also provided consultancy for start-up music companies and new digital initiatives such as Faceparty.com, Datz.com, TheBizmo and Mbop megastore.
Jem is particularly passionate about working with new talent and has been instrumental in catapulting up and coming music projects into the mainstream media arena. She works with a number of independent artists and organizations in the greater Washington DC area. She co-hosts the monthly music industry networking event the Metro Music Source, runs a ‘Music Marketing’ Workshop series, and is a regular contributor to industry websites WeAllMakemusic.com, IndieAmbassador.com and MusicThinkTank.com.
Jem continuously adopts a personalized and highly creative PR and marketing strategy for all campaigns, and thrives on working with an eclectic roster of artists, companies and events.
